Grandmaster Dan-Horia Chinda trained and taught Martial Arts since 1960's thruout the world before coming to the United States in 1990. In 1991 opened the American branch of the Chinda Institute
International for Mind-Body Development (CII).
He pioneered Karate-Do, Ju-Jutsu, Aikido and Tai-Chi
Chuan in Romania since 1970, continuing the legacy left
by his father, a Jiu-Jitsu expert. Through this heritage,
Master Chinda, very humble in his Zen ways, has the
capacity to bridge the east and the west.
This capacity is one of the greatest assets brought
to us by our Master. His ability to explain deeply philosophical
elements of far eastern content in a western understandable
way is very important in the development of our students.
